Right-click Menu
Right-click the tiny PC2Me icon to see a list of actions:
- Connection and Control Help
Display your PC2Me identity and your PC2Me browser link.
- Run Mute PC Test
Test whether your audio driver can mute your computer speakers while still sending audio to the iPhone.
- Exit PC2Me Server
Close the PC2Me Server. This requires that you type Exit to confirm. To avoid confirmation, check the "Eliminate exit confirmation" box.
- Preferences
Open the Preferences dialog, which has settings for general preferences and specific features. See Preferences.
- Registration and Unlock
Open the My Registration Information dialog, which shows your registration information and license status. See Licenses.
Also use this dialog to enter unlock codes for new licenses. See How to put in an unlock code.
- Set Username & Password
Open the PC2Me Security Password Setup dialog, where you type in the username and password you want to use when connecting to your PC2Me Server.
Note that the PassWord is CaSE sEnsitiVE. The username is not case sensitive.
- Upgrade to Files2Phones
Find out about changing to our Files2Phones product, which is similar to PC2Me but has a different set of features. You can read more about Files2Phones at myf2p.com.
- Update Current Version
Update to the most recent production revision of the PC2Me Server software.
However, if you are using a test or beta revision that is more recent than the current production revision, you can use this option to downgrade.
- View Connection Log
View a log that shows how the PC2Me Server connected to the 1stWorks servers.
- Help
Open this Guide.
- Ask Support A Question
If you're have problems or questions, please use this option to send a form to PC2Me Support. Include your contact information and a brief message. The form also sends us helpful diagnostic information about your computer.

Show the full revision number for your PC2Me Server.
