PC2Me Touchscreen - rev 3.0

With revision 3.2, the touchscreen controls changed. See Touchscreen - rev 3.2.

After you click Connect, you will see the upper left corner of your desktop (primary monitor). It is displayed at a 1:1 pixel scale; you can magnify this by spreading your fingers on the iPhone screen. You cannot compress the image as the iPhone firmware is not fast at re-rendering large images and the transfer time to your iPhone is significantly longer. You can pan around the screen simply by dragging your finger as you normally would on a website.

Overlay

Tapping the iPhone screen, moves the screen cursor to the tap position. A 6-button hexagonal Overlay is then displayed around the tap point and will remain for 3.5 seconds before fading away. To get it back or move it, simply tap again. This overlay allows you to select Left-Mouse Down and Hold, Fly the Mouse and Right-Click. You can also choose Application list, Function Keys or Text keyboard that will be applied at the current pointer position. If you tap the same point again 0.5 to 1.5 seconds later it is equivalent to a double-click of the mouse. (Note: Don't tap too fast as the iPhone uses this function.)
