Version 3.20.201 includes:

  1. Full remote PC control from Mac or PC using the Safari Browser via the F2P Product (Not PC2Me). This is MUCH faster and more natural than any RDP, Go2MyPC or VNC type product.

  2. We added back the blue target rectangle on the double-tap zoom to full screen without animation as it aggrivates an Apple instability. We will bring back the animation when Apple fixes their end.

Version 3.20.200 includes:

  1. Update to conform with Apple 2.02 firmware that is MUCH more stable in terms of browser crashes. We strongly suggest that you install the upgrade if you haven't already.

Version 3.20.006 includes:

  1. Multi-Touch interface now uses Tranforms, Animations and the new CSS to do a hardware zoom on double-tap away from the pointer to zoom to the entire desktop.

  2. Full International keyboard support.

  3. Fixed IBM (Lotus) Notes problem when launching as a separate Application.

  4. MUCH FASTER!! by saving the Javascript and overlay bitmaps in the iPhone's local database. It is only loaded once when you first connect to your PC2Me site.

  1. Remote update for server software. You can update your PC2Me server software from the iPhone.

  2. A canvas fix for screens over 1-megapixel.

  3. A very occasional browser lockup has been reported to Apple for correction in the 2.1 firmware.

Version 3.20.000 includes:

  1. Major UI changes and improvements based on newly exposed mult-touch mouse events in the 2.0 Apple firmware. Most notably a change where the hexagon is now gone. It is VERY important to take a moment to study the new Overlays that follow. We hope that you will find this technique much more intuative after using it for a few minutes. Note also that Invisible buttons and nudges in previous release have been eliminated.

Version 3.00.015 includes:

  1. More Compatibility changes for Rev. 2.0 Firmware. We now correctly feed keys into Rdp and Terminal Services and have fixed the problem introducted in the .012 cut. The 2.0 firmware 2 mega-pixel limit on canvas size is now expanded at all resolutions. A Login problem in XP causing a request on the Server for Username and Password is fixed.

Version 3.00.008 includes:

  1. Compatibility changes for Rev. 2.0 Firmware. Apple made several changes in 2.0 that caused trouble. Most notable were the Keyboard key values. We are still fighting their new 2 mega-pixel limit on canvas size limiting usable screen resloutions to 1600x1200 for now. We expect a fix by Monday to remove this limit and to allow re-login after an RDP session using Windows XP.

  1. Minor change to try and avoid new user confusion over what their Username and Password is and how to set it. If a User enters either incorrectly, the task bar icon displays a message on the PC and takes you to the password entry screen if clicked.

  1. Major Feature Upgrade! The Overlay is now a 6-button Haxagon. When you tap the screen, a left-click is sent to the application and an 6-button hexagonal overlay is placed on the screen around the tap point and will remain for 3.5 seconds and then fade away. This overlay allows you to select Left-Mouse Down, Fly the Mouse and Right-Click. You can also invoke a revolutionary new Application Selector that gives you a list of current Application Windows on your desktop, Function Keys or direct-entry Keyboard.

    Button Description
    A Displays a list of the current open Application windows on your PC's Desktop and allows you to select one just by clicking it. The iPhone will focus at the top left of that window a second or two after the selection is made.
    T Pops up a typing keyboard at the current pointer position.
    f Pops up a scrollable list of function & control keys.
    Down-left arrow Position the cursor at the beginning of an area you want to act on, such as highlight, hit this button ie. delete or copy.
    e.g. -To copy a section of text, tap the screen at the place where you want to start the copy, then select the Down-left-arrow button. Then tap the screen at the end of the area you want to copy and select the Fn button. In the Function Key pop-up, select Copy
    Up arrow The cursor becomes able to hover over spots to display tool tips without left-clicking the control.
    Down-right arrow Equivalent of the right-mouse click at the current pointer position. Pops up right-mouse-click menus.


  2. Keyboard entry now supports the space-space (within 0.5 seconds) that will enter a Period, space and auto-capitalize the next character.

  3. In the event that JavaScript is not enabled on the iPhone, A page is displayed telling users how to enable it.

Version 2.50.006 includes:

  1. Hacked iPhones & touches with 1.1.3 & 1.1.4 apparently had another pitfall that we fell into. This fixes it without the need for people to run the "1.1.4 cookie fix" from the jailbreak installer. This problem again manifests in randomly going back to the F2P or PC2Me Login page while controlling the desktop.

  1. Hacked iPhones & touches with 1.1.3 & 1.1.4 should now work correctly rather than bringing up the desktop for 4 seconds and reverting back to the connection screen. Seems that Apple put a hack detection in Safari to allow them to see who is hacked merely by hacked phones visiting a website and we fell in the hole.

  1. Auto-switch from Local WiFi to PC connections to remote connections via proxy. This means that If your PC is on the same subnet as your WiFi, it will connect directly to the PC Server bypassing our proxy server. Using the same bookmark it will also access your server via Edge or Remote WiFi.

  1. Keyboard data is now sent directly into the displayed application rather than the intermediate yellow text bar taking advantage of our new sub-rectangle screen updates. You can now move around the document by tapping above the keyboard at a new location. Also, the upper viewport tracks the typing caret keeping it centered for maximum editing ease.
